Shreveport Police Arrest Woman for Threatening Man With Boxcutter

On May 6th, 2023, at 4:17 p.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a domestic trouble call in the 4700 block of Westwood Park. On arrival, the responding officers learned that a female identified as Virginia George (5-1-78) reportedly had attacked a man while armed with a box cutter. The victim was not injured.

Detectives with the Domestic Violence Unit responded and located George. George was charged with one count of Aggravated assault with child endangerment, and one count of aggravated domestic assault. Investigation into this matter is still ongoing.

We must remind that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
