Taylor Swift Gets Eras Makeover From Stone Age To 2200 By AI Time Machine - Newsweek

The internet has been amazed by a viral video showing Taylor Swift through the ages, covering everything from her cavewoman era, to 1970s Swift, and even a potential cyborg.

The clip of the "AI Time Machine" was shared on Instagram by Sirio Berati (@heysirio) who wanted to delve into the singer's evolution by blending his love of art and technology. Berati, 25, of Montreal, Canada, used AI to create images of Swift in the Stone Age, and then looking elegant in the 18th and 19th centuries, before flashing forward to the singer wearing virtual reality goggles in 2024, and even morphing into what appears to be a cyborg in 2231.

Berati, the founder and CEO of VISIONREIMAGINE, was amazed by AI's reimagining of Swift, as he told Newsweek that it was like "fast forwarding a journey through time" as he watched her career unfold.

Since the video was shared on Instagram in August, it has gone viral with over 4.2 million views and more than 169,000 likes at the time of writing.

"It was fascinating to see how AI not only captured the changes in her music, but also interpreted the fashion, style, and vibe of each era. Doing the whole project with AI made it unique—it offers a glimpse into the future of storytelling," Berati said.

"AI has this knack for picking up on the subtle details of different times—the colors, the textures, the energy. It really captured the essence of each period," he said. "It's a powerful tool that lets artists push creative boundaries and try out new visual styles that might have been out of reach before."

As a creative entrepreneur who loves embracing AI, Berati is fascinated by how it imagines the future and what it might hold. And though he isn't a bona fide Swiftie, he appreciates her music, creativity, and the brand she has curated.

Many Swifties are accustomed to defining her eras by album title, such as her Reputation era or the 1989 era, but it seems Berati was more intrigued by her year 2200 era, which he said was his favorite one from the video.

He's been amazed by the overwhelming response since posting the clip online, as he hopes to show people that AI doesn't have to be seen as a threat, as it can actually be incredibly fun and creative.

"People are really intrigued by how AI can recreate such detailed portrayals of different times," Berati told Newsweek. "It's sparked some great conversations about the role of AI in art and how we're redefining creativity when machines can do so much.

"In the hands of a visionary, AI is more than just a tool—it's the key to unlocking new dimensions of creativity. To me, the most compelling aspect is not just what AI can do, but how it perceives and expresses human artistry. The real magic of AI is not in what it can do, but in how it empowers you to do what you've always wanted."

The AI video, which Berati jokingly dubbed as "Taylor Shift," has gained more than 1,300 comments on Instagram as many people lauded the different versions of the singer on the Eras Tour that no one expected.

One comment reads: "She nailed every single era."

Another social media user responded: "The ERAS TOUR to infinity and beyond."

Someone else jested: "Explains why she knows Aristotle."

This is a reference to the lyrics from "So High School" in which she sings, "You know how to ball, I know Aristotle."
